Looking for The Kingdom 2 free streaming in the US? Check Netflix access, paid rental and purchase options, English subtitles, and offline viewing limits.
Searching for Kingdom 2: Far and Away can lead to similarly named films and TV seasons, but the 2022 Japanese live-action film does not currently have a listed free streaming option in the United States. This guide explains Netflix subscription access, paid rental or purchase, and offline viewing options.
Kingdom 2: Far and Away is the 2022 film
The popular manga "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara was adapted into a live-action film in 2019 and became a blockbuster hit. Kingdom 2: Far and Away is the 2022 Japanese live-action sequel to Kingdom (2019). It is also listed under the alternate title Kingdom II: Harukanaru Daichi e, which helps distinguish this film from similarly named Kingdom TV seasons.
The story moves forward six months after the first film. As the neighboring state of Wei invades Qin, Shin joins the infantry and enters his first major battle alongside a small unit that includes the mysterious warrior Qiang Lei.
The returning cast includes Kento Yamazaki, Ryo Yoshizawa, and Kanna Hashimoto. Nana Seino joins the sequel, and Shinsuke Sato returns as director.
Why do some listings say 2022 and others say 2023?
Kingdom 2: Far and Away was released as a Japanese film in 2022. Some US digital listings use 2023 as the catalog year for the same movie.
US streaming, rental, and purchase options
In the United States, Kingdom 2: Far and Away is available through Netflix subscription access and through paid digital rental or purchase on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV Store. The availability summary below is current as of October 29, 2026.
| Provider | Access model | Audio | English subtitles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Netflix | Subscription | Japanese original | English |
| Amazon Prime Video | Rent or buy | Japanese | English CC |
| Apple TV Store | Rent or buy | Japanese | English SDH |
Existing subscribers can open the official Netflix title page and watch through their subscription. The official Amazon Prime Video listing and Apple TV Store listing offer separate rental or purchase transactions.
Does an Amazon Prime trial include Kingdom 2: Far and Away?
No. The film is listed as a separately paid rental or purchase, so a Prime membership trial does not cover that transaction.
My practical recommendation is to use Netflix if you already subscribe. If you only want this film and do not need another subscription, a digital rental is the more direct choice.
The Kingdom 2 free streaming: US availability
For readers asking “The Kingdom 2 Free Streaming: Is Far and Away Free?”, the direct US answer is no: Netflix does not offer free trials, and the listed options are paid subscription access, rental, or purchase rather than a licensed free full-movie stream.
Is the official YouTube video the full movie?
No. Sony's official Kingdom 2: Far and Away video is a trailer, not a free stream of the complete film.
Offline viewing with Netflix and StreamGaGa on computers
Netflix provides its official offline option through supported Android devices, iPhone and iPad, Fire tablets, and Chromebooks with Google Play. Before starting, sign in with an account that can access Kingdom 2: Far and Away and make sure the device has enough storage.
Official Netflix offline steps
- Open the Netflix app and find Kingdom 2: Far and Away.
- When you download Netflix subtitles as part of an offline title, the available Netflix subtitle options depend on the languages shown for that title; for this film, select the offered Japanese audio and English subtitles.
- Tap Download.
- Open Downloads in the Netflix app to watch offline.
Netflix downloads remain inside the Netflix app, require account access, and may expire. Netflix's supported download-device list does not include Windows or macOS.
For offline viewing on a computer, the StreamGaGa download center provides access to StreamGaGa One, a desktop option separate from Netflix's official in-app download feature. StreamGaGa One supports Windows and macOS. Service-specific features are provided by the included active Downloader.
For this Netflix video downloader workflow, use the included service module that matches the streaming service and select only the audio, subtitle, and output settings offered for the title.
Step 1: Install StreamGaGa One from the official source.
Step 2: Open the relevant included service in the built-in browser.
Choose the service module that corresponds to your authorized account, then open the film's title page.
Step 3: Sign in and play the video.
Sign in with an account authorized to access the film, then play it in StreamGaGa One's built-in browser so the service module can identify the available options.
Step 4: Choose the offered settings and click "Download Now."
Select from the resolution, audio, and subtitle choices actually offered for the title, then click "Download Now."
Compatibility can depend on the service and title. If the module does not present the expected options, use the current update and troubleshooting path before retrying the task.
Use offline features only for content you are authorized to access, subject to platform terms and applicable law. Keep saved content for personal use and do not redistribute it.
Conclusion
Kingdom 2: Far and Away is not currently listed with a licensed free full-movie option in the United States. If you already have Netflix, use the subscription listing; if you want a single-film transaction, choose a digital rental or purchase. For offline viewing, use Netflix's managed in-app download on a supported device or a scoped Windows or macOS workflow for content you are authorized to access.
